If eBay tries to track your location, that explains why a brand new eBay account solves the issue for some users.

But definitely eBay is still experimenting in this aspect since many users said it started to work fine without them making anything, but some still had it until they had to create another account or correspond with eBay (although YMMV in the latter case).

if the problem is that my bids are comeing from another ip address, can Myibidder make it look like the bids are coming from my ip address???

Unfortunately, it can't use your IP to place bids.

Seems like ebay are playing with fire. Ebay person told me they are trying to stop auto bidding software but it will cause auctions to end at lower bids and people missing or not bidding on auctions.
For example i am at work all day and don't have access to computer to bid. Without myibidder.com i won't be able to bid.
Bottom line ebay will lose money when auctions ending low because they get percentage of each auction.

I also had the error Unauthorized use of my EBay account. I found that by not staying logged in to myibidder app that I no longer got the error. Tonight though I had five failed login and missed out on five items.

I have had eBay send me the unauthrozied use of account message many times in several months. Sometimes a few days and sometimes a week or more till messes up again. I called several times and they say change my email password and secret question, makes no sense. I have anti- spy everything always the latest and real good. It is the bidder I know for sure. They never tell you too much as it is for "security". I use gavelsnipe as backup. Wish there was a way around it, like others I miss good snipes. Pain to keep changing everything around again too. Like other person said, eBay loses money - they are corporate "fat cat at the top" dumb heads to be sure.

I understand your pain. Even though the amount of such issues is significantly lower, but it happens here and there.
I think the most simplest way as of now is to create another eBay account for sniping purposes.
