The issue came back for a much shorter period of time.
It affected other snipers too, but I guess your other snipes were during a different time frame.

I also made several changes to mitigate the issue on the sniper's side.

In final desperation I think I've found an answer, I opened myibidder up and went to 'my account', which I'd never had occasion to do before, in there it gives you the option to enter your normal Ebay password, I did this and put in a test bid a couple of days hence, I then got an Email that my bid had been placed, and no bitching about verification etc; it worked for me, so I hope it works for others.

Hello, i'm now missing auctions because the system says 'Refused login (password problem?)'. Had this with 4 out of 5 auctions tonight. I don't think I can trust this system anymore. Pity it's been great until recently.

I lost two important snipes in the last 18 hours (and won two, also)! This does not make sense. I'm loosing snipes INTERMITTANTLY from this "Refused login (password problem?)". I've read about others' similar problems. What gives? Anyone know? -Richard

As I mentioned above, the sniper heavily relies on eBay.
If there are any issues with eBay, the sniper will have issues too. All snipers will, not just Myibidder.

Even though the said that major part of the issues were resolved only, their system looks fine and working as expected as of now.
