Hi,

My snipe on list 292940424990 didn't enter. It was set to 5 seconds.

The status is: "Auction ended".

It seems a bid was put on my behalf, but too late. Is the Myibidder clock late in relation to eBay clock?

Thanks

regards

Someone purchased the item using Best Offer option which ended the listing earlier.
You can't bid on ended listings and so the sniper.
This has nothing to do with the clock as it was ended earlier due to another buyer.

Thank you so much for the quick answer.

You mean the seller accepted an offer a few seconds before the list ended? It seems strange.

Yes, possible. You can see it in the bid history.
Why do you think this is strange?

Just because it was accepted just a few seconds before the end of the list.

And also because when seeing the bid history on mobile what appears is what you can see in attachment.

Many thanks again

Not sure what I should see in the screenshot you provided. It shows more or less the same as on my desktop browser (besides that it's not clear it was ended earlier by using the Best Offer option).
Please feel free to contact the seller if you think my explanation may be strange.
I would guess the seller waited for the last seconds hoping someone will start bidding on it, but this is just a guess.

The screenshot shows the bid amount, an information that should be hidden, I guess.

Also, it doesn't mention any 'Best offer accepted'.

Well, I will certainly contact the seller to try to solve the mystery.

Thank you

As I mentioned in my previous response, you see more information when you open a browser on your Desktop.
Maybe a Desktop version of eBay will show it on your phone as well.
Please check.

The seller answered saying that he accepted an offer a few seconds prior the auction end. So you were right.

Thanks!
