My bid didn't go through even though my bid was higher than the final winning bid. In Myibidder... next to My Status, it states: "Please login again now. Your security token has expired"
I've never had this happen before. What does it mean? And, how do I avoid this from happening in the future.

Looks like your eBay link was revoked on your side.
You need to re-link your eBay account by logging in to https://www.myibidder.com/main/ebay
Thank you for your quick response. I don't know how or why it was revoked on my end. But, I re-linked as you suggested. And, I'll try another snipe tonight.

There are several reason how it could be revoked on your side.
The most common ones are if you change your eBay password or when you remove it from the list of approved apps.
Anyway, I just checked it and confirm it's good as of now.

Okay...
You've given me a clue... and, I believe I know what happened.
My 2 previous (winning) Myibbider snipes occurred on
Sept. 16th... using my old eBay password.
Then, eBay notified me that I needed to re-set my password on Sept. 18th... so, I re-set a "new password" on that same day.
Then, my most recent (losing) Myibidder snipe occurred, yesterday, Sept. 19th... only, now I'm using my new eBay password... but, not realizing that there was a conflict or inconsistency between Myibidder and eBay.
Now, it all makes sense!
