Snipes did not place | Sun Mar 06, 2016 02:44 AM | | |

I scheduled three snipes using the iBidder web site. The second one closed 2 minutes after the first, and the third another 4 minutes later. They were not grouped. Only the first one activated. All bids were higher than asking and the second two closed on eBay showing they received no bids. I set snipe times at 8 seconds for all three.
What did I do wrong?

I wish I could tell, but without the item number I could guess that you did not meet other requirements set by the seller or eBay.
If you don't want to share the item number, please let me know what did you see in the status field of those snipes.

Thank you.
These were about 2 days ago. There were some network lags around that time so the sniper did not have enough time to resubmit your bid.
I'm sorry it affected your snipes.

OK, thanks for looking into this.
How often do you see this happen? I just started using this service and so far two of the 5 bids I set up failed which doesn't instill a lot of confidence. I need to know I can trust that my bids will be submitted. Appreciate your guidance.

These are usually rare.
Also, I see that it's getting more rare, so eBay improved a lot compared to how it was a few years ago.
