I have been having massive problems with my computer lately, and last night there was an incomplete download from microsoft. Thats been corrected. I am not sure if this is realated, and I don't see that the reason will matter at this point, but there could be a thousands reasons for the following:
When I went to eBay today, I noticed that under the Tools button/dropdown at the top of Firefox, myibidder has been dropped for the list. (Other apps are still listed.)
How can I reinstall this option, so I can bid while I am searching on eBay, rather than have to go to myibidder.com and copy and paste an auction number, etc.
thanks

Thanks, that seemed to do it. I did not realize that myibidder had been deleted. I assumed that it was a setting that got unsettled. It seems to work now.

Yes, I sort of would like to revisit what brought me here, because it happened again.
I have been having massive problems with high CPU and Memory problems with Windows/Firefox. I have gone through about 10 different tools to analyze and remove temp files, viruses, malware, etc. Somewhere in the scope of this, Myibidder stops working in eBay, as addressed above. I am not saying that Myibidder is malware, but that it seems to be scooped up in the net of these cleaners. But then again, I am not even sure that Myibidder is part of the problem with high CPU and Memory use.
I may need to run any number of these cleaners / temp file removers in the future so my concerns are.
1. how can I be sure that the myibidder program is actually being deleted and uninstalled rather than just disabled. -I mean, if I download it every time it disappears, I might end up with a dozen instances of myibidder on my harddrive, only one of them in opperation?
2. what for and where should I search to be sure that myibidder has been uninstalled?
3. is this a common occurrence with Myibidder?
thanks for your help.

1. You can control your add-ons through Tools - Add-on in your Firefox. This is not just Myibidder add-on, but with any other add-on in your Firefox browser
2. The same place as above
3. I don't know how you clean and what you use. Obviously, one of the "cleaners" does not do the job properly. Please note that there are many "cleaners" who claim they clean, but they are actually malwares
Myibidder does not run on your PC, so it has nothing to do with your CPU usage.

I have to thank you again for helping me with this problem.
I called the programs I ran "cleaners" as a sort of catch-all phrase. (one is called a 'temp cleaner' which clears all temp files, the others detect and remove malware, adware and viruses) I assure you that none of them install malware. But I am aware that when downloading any program or app, like myibidder even (http://www.myibidder.com/link/firefox ), you always run the risk of downloading malware.
You tell me that myibidder is not installed on my computer, yet you direct me to install the Firefox add-on. As far as I know, that is a piece of myibidder programing that is installed on my computer and the one that keeps being erased. I was only going on the page you linked, which is titled "Myibidder Auction bid sniper for eBay ("Snipe it") 1.3.7.1-signed" I am sorry if I am ignorant of the proper computer jargon. I was trying to ask about that piece of programing (1.3.7.1-signed) in number 2 above:
2. what for and where should I search to be sure that myibidder has been uninstalled?
I was hoping someone here would be able to point me to where that piece of programing/app/addon/what-ever-you-want-to-call-it would be installed on my computer.
I know that the problems I have been experiencing with my computer are no concern of yours. And the fact that the myibidder add on gets wiped out by the anti-maleware programs probably doesn't concern you either. So, I do appreciate the help.

I originally said "it does not run on your PC". I did say "it's not installed".
Firefox add-ons don't need to run all the time to work. Most add-ons just help you to do your tasks when you are doing them only and do not run on the background.
2. The Firefox add-on folder must be set as an exception. It's different on every Firefox installation.
You can also submit your concern to the software author who does this cleaning. That will help you in the future.
I can provide any information they need to make it work. Or you can just redirect them to Myibidder support if they'll need more information.
It does concern me and I'm willing to help whenever I could.
