Hi,
I changed my Ebay password a couple of months ago and have trouble with mybidder ever since. I have entered the Ebay password in the Profile but have also changed the mybidder password to be identical. I still get the error refused login, latest auction is 151390870122.
What am I doing wrong??
Regards
Raffe

You did everything properly.
It appears eBay had the issue when they started to ask for verification code randomly.
Once the issue was resolved, but it came back a few more times.
I see the snipes are coming through this very moment so it looks good and stable now.
It sounds like eBay fixed the issue after all.

Since you used Myibidder for a long time, you know we provide our service at the highest level.
Unfortunately, some things do not depend on Myibidder. If eBay is having issues, Myibidder can't bid too.
Good thing is that eBay is usually fast on resolving such things, so we are back into the game!

Thanks.
I am aware that this is down to Ebay, but in the end it doesn't matter what's the cause if it doesn't work. Let's hope Ebay will resolve it, real shame if mybidder wasn't reliable anymore (for whatever reason).
All the best

OK, I'm having this problem too... I can have several bids go through, then one will be refused as a password problem.
Is it still ebay's problem???

byndbleef,
It's getting significantly better, so it seems like eBay is working on it. Hopefully, it will be resolved finally soon.

I can't locate the actual verbage right now but ebay's official policy on sniping is "Don't do it".
Could that have something to do with the bid failures (mine included) that are occurring right now?

Gary,
I don't think so. They would've block it long time ago because it's easy to do.
Sniping definitely brings more traffic to eBay, so I see no point in blocking it.

Hah. I was having the same problem. I think I found the answer, at least for some of us, myself in particular. I think ebay is refusing login from the site if you are already logged in with your browser or another device. I made a test snipe and didn't win but that was because my bid was low. I will try again tomorrow to find something I just can't live without, and have another go at it. You can't just close the ebay site tab in your browser though... you have to actually log out, I think.

If your bid was low, that's the reason why you lost. Not because you did not logout.
Login from two locations was an issue long time ago, but it seems like this is not the issue as of now.
Let me know what you'll discover anyway.
