I think it would be really convenient if myibay would let you specify a maximum amount that you would want to pay for the item, then as the bid closes it bids just enough (50 cents or so) higher than the previous bid (if it's less than your specified maximum). This way people could win the item for the absolute minimum price needed, taking away the worry of having to go back and make your bid just higher than the last one.
If there is already a way of doing this, please let me know how.

Hello Civic,
That's exactly how it works -- you put your maximum one time and wait.
There is no point to adjust it every time, eBay proxy bidding system does it for you.
