Unfortunately, there are many status messages which are too long to fit into subject of standard email, so it will break it and some mail servers may block Myibidder emails based on that.
You can create a rule to filter by eBay message saying you won the item.

I don't know all of the standard messages. Maybe I do not even want the status, since it's nogo until I won most of the times.
I feel that a single word or even a single letter abbreviation would be helpful - the full status is given and repeated more verbously within the body.
But for the not won I'd welcome to see the price within the subject - especially if the price is shown correctly.

As we discussed before, I can't guarantee that the final price is correct.
Sometimes eBay can't provide it or has a delay and there is no way for the sniper to know if the final price is actual or outdated.

Yeah, is was just a side note for the price. We had that discussion earlier and I did not want to repeate all of it here.
But assuming that the price is right, many times, it would be helpful to see the price within the subject of the confirmation mail. Best would be to see the price in order to be sortable. So it should be in front of the article description.

Got it. Let me think about this. I think I'll implement it. You should see it once it's done.
There is no specific ETA on it.

Thanks!
As you stated, it's easy to create filters and folders to hold all myibidder mail. So personally I do not need the "Myibidder.com bid: " prefix at all. Since all mail is dropped to the myibidder folder, it's obvious to me.
For those with a single mail list (such as me on the smartphone) any short prefix can be helpful.
But my mail program would not permit to modify subject lines from body and former subject line.
A price tag within the subject would be a significant improvement since this is the major requirement why to look into the body at all.
