Why did myibidder not WIN an auction.. Sun Dec 08, 2013 09:18 PM Quote

my max bid was $31.98, active snipe, to bid at 6 seconds & the winning bid was $29.28??? All the bidder said was under "time left" column "auction ended".

Is this one of those piece-of-crap applications that works occasionally, but also takes sabbaticals when it pleases?? I used AuctionSentry for years, but they want you to pay for that annually...BUT IT WORKED EXACTLY AS PROMISED EVERY TIME.

I suppose you "get what you pay for" & pay for what you get.

Please advise & TIA.

Please always include the item number in question so I could check.
I have no way to advise without any reference information.

If you don't want to share it, I could only guess that you did not meet eBay's or seller's requirements in order to win.
Please check the status of your snipe for more information.

I think I found the item number. Is it 190985390005? If yes, I see you won the item.

Why you think this application is a piece-of-crap if it won the item for you? Did you expect something else? Please clarify.

OK...you're correct & I sincerely apologize. I left the auction open and after refreshing to check the auction (unlike in the past) there is absolutely no notification like "you won!" as there was in the past, just
"Ended: Dec 08, 2013 12:40:11 PST" and below: "More chances to get what you want" with similar items to buy or bid on. I took a screenshot & would attach, but I don't see an attachment capability.

But the reason I used your support forum is that it has happened before where I had all settings set & had the sniper activated & it never bid. I had used free bidders before that were hit & miss, so I was assuming the same here. So, if & when it happens again, I will include all pertinent info. I do appreciate the quick response & reasonably priced program...if I can get it to work consistently. Since my smartass comment was unjustified (today), you can delete this post if you like, of course...or let others watch me roast!

I'm glad you got it resolved quickly.
I think "More chances to get what you want" message is usually comes up when you are not logged in to eBay, so eBay does not know who you are and assumes you are not the winner. Once you log in, you should see the proper "You won" kind of message.

You can attach files to your messages if you are registered forum user. Guests can't do it for security reasons.

If you see anything like this in the future, please don't forget to include the item number. No need a screenshot or anything like that, just the item number will help me to look it up.

In any case, thanks a lot for your follow up and good luck sniping!
