I'm having issues trying to get the program started.
It's done it before, so I simply restart my system.
This time, when clicking the icon to start the program, I can see it try to start in my program manager, then it automatically shuts down & disappears from the program manager listing.
What can I do to repair the program?

Never heard about such issue. The program is running in low privileges, so it has no power to reboot your PC unless you have some internal issues with your Windows.
Try to uninstall the application, reboot your PC, go to program files and delete "myibidder" folder, find and delete myibay.cfg file, then download and install the app again.
