After reading through a number of the threads in the Stand along support sub-forum and seeing the same mostly silly questions over and over, I'm surprised you can answer all of these day in and day out.

Forum requirements before posting:
1. Do a search first, your question probably has already been asked,
2. Know how the bidding process works, know how to bid,
3. Don't expect perfection, there are no guarantees no matter how you do this,
4. Be sure you are bidding on the correct item, give yourself enough "snipe" time. Three or four seconds is too close,
5. Don't expect these 'mobile toy' Internet devices to work correctly. If the item is important enough, use a 'real' computer' to place the snipe, either their software or their web site,
6. Use MyIBidder's convenient diagnostic testing feature (Options/Settings/Diagnostic/Network test) to confirm the connection with eBay.

I mostly agree, but I have no problems answering the same question. I guess some users get it better when answered to them personally.
3-4 seconds is not too close, it's just an additional risk with no reason for it with no benefit.
Not sure what you mean about "mobile toy". Myibidder has apps for iOS and Android, all of them use Myibidder service so reliability is not a question.

"Do a search first" is a really good suggestion. Many answers (not just Myibidder-related) can be found easily, no doubt here.
I hope we are getting there little by little :-)

My question was mostly why you think cell phones is less reliable for sniping. Android app uses the same service.

Not the issue about reliability, but the issue of the gross annoyance of ignorant individuals with these surgical implanted in the hands using them everywhere one goes.

videobruce,
First, your message sounds offensive. Please choose better words next time.

On the topic:
I see no problems using a cell phone for email, shopping, bidding, sniping and such. I use it myself and see no issues.

Not as offensive as looking at these people that don't respect others, using their toys in plain view on what appears to be a continuous basis. This includes driving, walking and in close quarters as in lobbies, elevators among others.

Actually, I did choose my words carefully.
