Dear Support,

This morning I placed 2 snipes on ebay.de (resp. 12 minutes and 50 minutes before end of bidding) and both failed (My Status: This listing has ended). I did exactly the same procedure as in the past, using the web based interface that was SOOO successful lastly.
Maybe a problem with the daylight saving time ? Time zone ? etc.

I had the same thing today!
My snipe failed today for the first time for no apparent reason - the winning bid was much lower than what I set up so I have no clue of what is going on...

The item number is 110858024024, the snipe was set up in good time but the status on myibidder is "the listing has ended".
Could anyone please explain what has happened? Thanks.

There was something and eBay was slow to respond.
Could be some kind of glitch on their side or network issue between our servers and eBay.
In any case, it was for a short period of time and the issue is gone already.

I'm sorry to everyone whose snipes were affected. Fortunately, this is rare.

Had a similar problem today:
Ebay-Item 120894960254, snipe was high enough and setup a few hours before bidding should end.
But myibidder failed with "This listing has ended"?
Is there any other explanation?

eBay usually has their peak time around Sunday morning. Most of the time the peak time goes smoothly, but sometimes delays may happen.
I increased some timeouts to make it better, but a few snipes did not work out anyway because of those delays in eBay's responses.

Luckily, it seems to be much better than what eBay had a few years ago. So they definitely work on the improvements to avoid happening this in the future.
I'm sorry it affected your snipe. I hope you'll find the same or better deal.
