Hi, I've set up an Active Item with an amount, and set the Activate Snipe on. My question is what conditions need to be true for it be sniped, (or at least a bid made)?
Does the app still need to be running and have the focus?
Does it need a sufficient phone signal, with the phone not in use, or will it work with wifi connectivity, or does it work offline even if the phone is destroyed once the snipe is set up?

The last option is the correct one: it will work offline even if the phone is destroyed.
You need the connection to setup your snipe only.
