options>settings>Default snipe time issue | Thu Nov 03, 2011 08:13 PM | | |

Hi,
I purchased myibay and have been using it for the past few months, love the program. Only problem I seem to be having is that when I change the default snipe time from 6 seconds to 4 seconds it doesn't change the default time. Also, i've noticed that the bidder is about 1 second late. Is there something else I need to do or is this a bug in the settings menu?
Thanks

The default snipe time affects your future snipes only, it does not change your current snipes.
Although, 1 second difference for the snipe does not affect anything, you should provide the item which you sniped so I can check.
It's not a bug, the network lags can't keep the precision. That's normal.

Ya, I am aware that it does not update current snipes and only supposed to affect future ones but it doesn't do that.
When I see all my items on the grid, I right click on the my bid row of the item and enter my bid and then press enter. Then when I left click the item and click 'snipe' to see the snipe the default is set to 6 seconds even though the default in the setting is set to 4 seconds.
I can change it to 4 seconds on each snipe one by one but I want it to already be set to 4 seconds.
Thanks for your help
