Hi. I have put 40 as maximum and the previous bid by other bidder was 19. I have read the FAQ - https://www.myibay.com/login/faq/4/#q7
It says i will pay only one increment more than previous one but i ended up with winning for 40. I feel like an asshole right now. Am i missing anything else?

Someone else bid higher than 19. Check the bid history, you will see the other bidder.
The bid increment works over the previous bidder, not the starting/current bid.
