Workaround for "Snipe These" first use | Tue Jun 29, 2010 04:47 PM | | |

When I first tried to use "Snipe These", the myibay results were drastically different from my search results. I was looking at a seller's items (clicked "View items for sale" from seller's feedback page) using "Price + Shipping: lowest first", which was my default sorting. When I clicked "Snipe These", it showed me the "Best Match" search results instead. I had to switch to "Best Match" sorting and then back to "Price + Shipping: lowest first" in order to make myibay see the results with the sorting I wanted.
In short: switch between sorting options if "Snipe These" gives you the wrong sorting the first time.
It works perfectly for me now.

This is with the Google Chrome browser myibay extension version 1.0.12 using the ebay.com domain, by the way.

Thanks a lot for sharing.
The search result really depends on what is in your browser's address bar.
So I guess when you switch some settings, the url is getting updated. But when your setting was set some time ago, then your default is changed and it does not appear in the url as a parameter.
