Max bid including shipping (firefox addon) | Tue Jun 15, 2010 01:11 AM | | |

Hello!
I used sometimes myibay plugin for firefox, but it lacks a very important feature, for example, some auctions have $23 of shipping and $5 of winning bid and others $10 winning bid but $10 shipping, then the first auction is 23+5=$28 and the second only $20, is a big difference.
Then if i use the snipe all items at the same time i can put a common max bid value for same selected items, but they have different shipping price as the example that i shown.
It will be interesting to implement a country specific shipping calculator with the navigator localization info and send to ebay site to get the shipping fees.
Thanks for read!

I'll see what I can do, but last time when I checked eBay did not provide such information the easy way.
As an alternative, if you have a few sellers only, then you can add each seller's results separately with different snipe amounts for each seller.

I think the best way is pass the screen result of the user (me) that is the current currency converted value including shipping (right column) as parameter on the url of the myibay get page.
It will be the easiest way of get the user specific shipping costs.
To do this firts you must check is the shipping country is set, if is set to all that i tell above.
Something like this i think that will be possible, right?

I have no control over your own local settings on your PC.
There is no way it can be done an easy way.
You better do it by sorting out different seller if there are few.
